The agency EntreVinos was created in 2004, joining his experience in tourism-related business and winery consultancy with wine promotional organizations. He has created different packages and offerings to promote winery tours. He organizes and markets wine and gastronomy tours in La Rioja, Navarre and the Basque Country.
In the field of consulting, he has created the tourism brand
“Sabores Ecológicos de Navarra” (“Ecological Flavors of Navarre”) for which he is designing a series of tourism itineraries with tours of installations belonging to companies dedicated to ecological agriculture (mainly wineries); likewise, he is organizing the
“The Way of St. James Wine Route” with various wineries and tourism companies in Navarre as a first step towards organizing the entire route until reaching Santiago de Compostela.
José Antonio Cruz is the creator and host of
“Wine discussion groups at NH”, which has been held over the past year at the NH Iruña Park Hotel in Pamplona, and which will be extended to other hotels belonging to this chain in the North of Spain next autumn. He has also served as an invited
conference speaker, informing about his experience in the field of oenotourism in Barbastro as part of the International Pyrenean Tourism Showroom, in Tenerife, where he was invited by the Designation of Origin Valle de la Orotava to present during its Oenotourism Seminar, and as an expert evaluating the creation of oenotourism packages in La Orotava. He was a
presenter at the 4th National Oenotourism Convention organized by the Aliter Business School in Madrid. He was also a presenter at the 2nd Lugo Ribeira Sacra Tourism Development Convention.
He has also collaborated with the radio station Onda Cero Navarre in its program
“Sopas con Onda”, he presents along with chef Álex Múgica. He also coordinates the
Navarran Agrotourism Association, ABELORE, and the
Navarran Association of Travel Agencies, as the founder of the receptive tourism platform
“anavarra.com”. He is the editor of the chef Álex Múgica’s cookbooks. His clients as a media and tourism consultant include the Navarran Winery Association, The Navarran Government’s Departments of Culture and Tourism and Territorial Management, the Lekunberri Town Council, the Navarran Hotel and Restaurant Management Studies Center, rural houses, hotels, restaurants, wineries, etc.
